The Private Registration Itself

Starting from £141.67, the cost of the private registration varies depending on the uniqueness, desirability, and significance of the numbers and letters on the plate. More popular or meaningful combinations usually come with a higher price tag.

DVLA Transfer Fee

This is a VAT-free mandatory fee of £80. This fee is necessary to apply the registration to a vehicle. It is also the same fee you would pay if you ever wish to put the registration on retention, i.e., remove it from your vehicle and keep it without assigning it to another vehicle.

Admin Fee

Starting from £25, the admin fee covers our cost for carrying out the administrative duties of registering a private registration. This includes the work of our administrative team and the costs involved in using finance providers as a payment method.

Number Plates

While this is optional, you can add number plates to your order. These start from £29.99 for a pair of printed plates.

VAT

This is charged on everything but the DVLA transfer fee.
